A 48-year-old man was rescued from the sea this Monday when he was in trouble on a beach in the Anaga area, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The events occurred on Monday afternoon on Tachero beach in the aforementioned municipality, where the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) helicopter moved after being alerted that there were two people in trouble at sea.
Once in the area, the rescuers found one of the people clinging to a rock and took him to the La Guancha helipad, where he was assisted at the Continuing Care Point (PAC) with moderate breathing difficulties.
The other bather, for his part, was able to get out of the sea by his own means.
The team from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) provided medical care to the rescued man and transferred him to the aforementioned health center.
