SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, September 9 (EUROPA PRESS) –
An irregular boat with 74 migrants arrived under its own power last morning at the Port of Los Cristianos, on the island of Tenerife, according to the Red Cross.
Meanwhile, Maritime Rescue has indicated that around 2:30 a.m. the Civil Guard notified the Tenerife Rescue Center of an echo on the radar that could be a boat or a canoe, so the Salvamar Alpheratz was activated.
The state agency’s resource located the migrants around 3:30 a.m. and escorted them to Los Cristianos.
For their part, at 4:45 a.m., they arrived at the port by their own means, being assisted by the usual health care device in these cases, made up of the Red Cross and the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), without requiring any transfer to hospital centers. .
