New filming in Canary Islands. This time it is the British director and screenwriter Guy Ritchie the one who has chosen different locations in Tenerife to film part of what will be his new cinematographic adventure. The film does not yet have an official title and the team’s workers have nicknamed it UGRP [siglas en ingles para Untitled Guy Ritchie Project] Guy Ritchie’s untitled project.
From what has been learned, filming began on Monday after several days of tests in which part of the equipment and material could already be seen in the town of San Andrés.
The film has three important stars as protagonists. On the one hand there is Henry Cavill, who repeats filming in the Archipelago after having filmed in Gran Canaria and The Palm the first season of The Witcher for Netflix. The latest Superman interpreter is also joined by Jake Gyllenhaal Known for his leading roles in the well-known films Brokeback Mountain or Nocturnal Animals. In addition, he has also moved to the island the Oscar winner sound engineers Simon Hayes. Completing the cast of protagonists is Eiza González, a Mexican actress and singer internationally remembered for her appearances in films such as Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019).
Filming will remain on the island until October 26 or 27.and. Details of the plot and Ritchie’s new title are being kept under wraps. What has been known is that this new title participated in the last edition of the Marché du Filmthe Cannes market that brings together the main players in the industry held last May.
The film, which will feature Ritchie’s usual humorous touches, revolves around “two rescue specialists who must plan an exit route for a high-level negotiator.”
