The TF-5, one of the most important roads in Tenerife, suffers this Wednesday afternoon an important jam after a traffic accident near the municipality of San Cristobal de La Laguna in which they have been involved five vehicles.
The incident took place around 2:40 p.m. near the access to the Vía de Ronda, in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, causing delays of approximately 20 kilometers.
Emergency resources have been mobilized by 1-1-2 Canarias after being alerted by some witnesses present in the area.
It is a new day in which the TF-5 suffers delays. It is worth remembering that one of the electoral promises of the president of the Cabildo of Tenerife, Rosa Dávila, was to end traffic jams in 90 days, measure that he later admitted he could not comply with.
At the moment, the only measure taken to alleviate traffic is limiting the circulation of waste trucks in the TF-5 and in TF-1.
