SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, September 5 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of the Popular Party (PP), Alberto Núñez Feijóo, visits this Tuesday afternoon the area affected by the Tenerife forest fire that is not yet controlled after burning almost 15,000 hectares in a perimeter of 90 kilometers and twelve municipalities.
Feijóo will access the El Rayo forest trail, in the municipality of Los Realejos, and at 5:40 p.m. he will address the media in the company of the vice president of the Cabildo, Lope Afonso, and the mayor of Los Realejos, Adolfo González.
The fire originated on August 15 and led to the evacuation of some 13,000 people and since it went down to level 1 it has been managed by the Tenerife Cabildo, which has a device of more than 70 personnel and two helicopters to consider it under control. .
