With the development of ‘Canary Islands: a volcanic window in the Atlantic’, the recommendations described by the Special Plan for Civil Protection and Emergency Response to Volcanic Risk in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands (Pevolca) are fulfilled.
The final objective of this program is to contribute to the Canary Islands being a better informed and organized community in the face of volcanic risk to become much less vulnerable than a community that does not know or ignores the volcanic threats that surround it, and is not organized to respond. to them.
