The Cabildo, through the Scientific and Technological Park of Tenerife (PCTT), opens the registration period, until next September 24, to participate in the Investment Preparation Program aimed at innovative projects. The Minister of Innovation, Research and Development, Juan José Martínez, points out that the objective of the initiative “is to identify innovative business projects and help them develop by obtaining financing for their start-up, in such a way that they generate employment».
The Science Park selects and prepares the best scalable innovative technology-based or knowledge-intensive projects and accompanies them in the process of searching for investors through a complete program “turned into a regional reference for those entrepreneurs who wish to mature their business projects and look for venture capital investors, finally presenting them at the Investment Forum,” explains Martínez.
The Cabildo has been developing the Investment Preparation Program since 2009 through the Science Park. Entrepreneurs with innovative projects can participate in it, in case of SMEs that need investment to develop a line of business.
To participate, interested parties must make a request electronically through the Park’s website, completing the form at the following link: https://formularios.pctt.es/programa-de-preparacion-para-la-inversion/. The request will become effective after receiving an email notification after receiving the registration. The deadline for sending applications to participate in the Preparation Program is open until September 24.
Within the Investment Preparation Program, four large thematic blocks will be taught with the following training: Business Model; Finance and Financial Management; Legal Aspects and Communication. The preparation, for its part, consists of two phases. In the first stage, the preselected projects will receive several training sessions, both collective and personalized, along with a presentation of projects for the selection of the finalists who will participate in the second phase. The latter involves the preparation of the presentation of the project at a verbal level in a concise manner (pitch) and its reflection in the Investment Forum.
