He Council of Tenerife has authorized the award of the emergency works to replenish the drain TF-24on his way through The rosarygiven the danger of subsidence of the road.

Specifically, it affects the kilometer point 7+300 (The Rosary)which poses a risk to traffic safety due to the number of heavy vehicles that circulate on the road.

The deterioration of the tube and its collapse was detected last July by maintenance workers during cleaning work. For this reason, there is an urgent need for its replacement to guarantee the stability of the road.

Traffic will suffer detours in the area

The urgent tasks will consist of the replacement of the tube, cleaning and clearing of the area, demolition of the existing pavement and the replacement of sidewalks, walls and curbs. They will be carried out during daylight hours, which will mean traffic detours.

The work has a budget of more than 300,000 euros and a period of six months.
