SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 23 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Government of the Canary Islands has ordered this Wednesday the partial relocation of residents who were evacuated in the municipalities of Tacoronte, El Sauzal and Santa Úrsula due to the good evolution of the forest fire that for more than eight days has burned more than 14,700 hectares with a perimeter of ninety kilometers.
The Executive’s measure affects, in the case of Tacoronte, people residing in the Agua García neighborhood, specifically in Las Mesetas streets –up to portal 52–, Hoya de Lirios, Camino Real, La Esperanza highway – -up to gates 10 and 27–, Candelaria Monte –up to gates 29 and 44– and Carril de Billete.
In El Sauzal, people residing in the streets Vereda Romero, Monasterio –up to gates 51 and 52–, El Pozo –up to gate 28A–, Romero –up to gates 56 and 45- will be able to see their homes. – and Camino El Monte to portal 35.
In the case of Santa Úrsula, the relocation affects the streets of Cuesta Perera up to the limit with Lomo Hilo, Los Lances, Las Tosqueras up to portal 159, Barranquillo, Camino El Monte, Fuente Gonzalo and Lomo la Mina.
The Canarian Government requests that access to the relocated areas be carried out only by residents of those areas, as well as workers and means of extinction, to avoid
