Neighbors of La Orotava, hands on deck in the fight against the fire in Tenerife

The City Council of La Orotava has made the decision to evacuate preventively, given the evolution of the fire, the population centers of Aguamansa, La Resbala, Pinolere, the highlands of La Florida and the Pino Alto neighborhood. The Quiquirá municipal pavilion has been set up in the municipality.

In Arafo, the evacuated areas correspond to the population centers of El Pinalete, Galván, Las Vigas and Lo de Los Ramos. A preventive evacuation order has also been issued in Camino de La Granja, Los Eres, Lomo Juan Lian and the access to Barranco de Añavingo.

In the municipality of La Matanza, during the afternoon of this Thursday, the neighborhoods of La Vica and El Pirul were evacuated.
