The fire that since last Tuesday affects the mountains of Tenerife has caused, in addition to the confinement or evacuation of some 7,600 people, the rehoming of pets, more than 200 dogs from a shelter, 230 goats from four farms and about a thousand chickensamong other livestock.
For its part, the Animal Welfare area of the Council of Tenerife It has coordinated with all the affected livestock and animal protection sectors to evict and relocate the affected farms and zoos, as explained by the corporation on Thursday.
In it Tierra Blanca Animal Protection Center has set up a 24-hour service for the shelter of animals and more than 200 dogs have been evicted from the El Ravelo shelter, in El Sauzal (managed by ADEPAC), which were taken to the El Ravelo sports center on a provisional basis.
Likewise, 230 goats from four farms have been evacuated to different resources and 1,000 hens from the La Orotava area have also been rehoused in a private space.

The Canarian Equestrian Federation is in coordination with the equestrian centers of the Island, the Cabildo de Tenerife and the affected municipalities for the rehousing and transfer of those animals that require it due to their proximity to the fire.
On Wednesday at noon, the eviction of horses in Las Lagunetas, more specifically in the rural hotel Don Leandro, to the Centro Hípico La Cordillera. During the night, the eviction of several horses belonging to an individual resident in the Las Barreras area in La Esperanza was also carried out, which were relocated to the El Manchón de las Flores Equestrian Center. In the esperanze, so far a total of 62 horses have been evicted and work continues to be able to relocate all those who are necessary.
During this Thursday, for its part, the upper part of the municipality of La Orotava (Aguamansa, Pinolere) has been evacuated, starting with horses and also having to relocate the following species: 80 goats, 18 horses, 7 donkeys, 130 dogs, 20 chickens, 30 ducks, a pig, 35 sheep, two ponies and 18 cats through a device with volunteers from the area.
Also for a few hours, in El Rosario, La Esperanza and Las Rosas, several horses have been preventively relocated to the Cher El Rocío Equestrian Center, which has also welcomed private horses from the Las Rosas area, as well as from other regions. close to the main road from La Esperanza to Agua García.
Virtually all the horses have been evicted from the Los Brezos Equestrian Center (more than 50) in a coordinated, calm, but agile way. Likewise, four horses have been moved from the private stables of Finca Palo Guanche. All of them have been transferred to Nueva Atalaya in the blocks of Marta Duque.
The horses of the Los Caireles Equestrian Center are prepared in case it is necessary to carry out transfers to move them away from the source of the fire. In this case, the La Cordillera Equestrian Center is already prepared to act in this possible situation.
In addition, Finca Altoanna has transferred to eight donkeys, two mares, two ponies and two cows from Finca El Burrero, lending seven of its stables to the private owner of these animals and moving several pigs, goats and sheep to the La Cordillera Equestrian Center.

Lines of buses affected
For its part, TITSA has suspended the service of line 348 that runs from the Parador de Las Cañadas del Teide to the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz.
In addition, lines 342 from Costa Adeje have been affected, which will only reach the municipality of Vilaflor, and lines 345 and 346, which will only reach the Casa Forestal stop and return to the municipalities of La Orotava and Puerto de la cross, respectively.
