The fire is wreaking havoc at all levels in Tenerife. To the more than 8,000 evacuees, we must add a high number of pets and farm animals who have also been affected by evictions.
Apart from the heads of cattle, which have been taken care of by the services of the Council of Tenerife, there are other groups and associations that are carrying out pet care work. One of them, the Association for the Defense and Protection of Animals of Canary Islands (Adepac) organizes a solidarity collection, which has been announced through social networks, in which apart from feed, other items such as coras, first-aid kit with alcohol, gauze and other items, cleaning products, etc. are requested.
Schedules
The collection will take place this Thursday and Friday, between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., at the Center for Cultural Associations and the Carnival Esteban Reyes Melián (in the old Mercado del Barrio de La Salud).
