The first of the three seaplanes that the Government of the Canary Islands has requested from the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge due to the fire in Tenerife has already been on the island since this Wednesday. This has been confirmed by 1-1-2 Canarias on his Twitter account, where he has published a photograph of the amphibious plane flying through the skies of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. In fact, the plane has been recorded carrying out a loading maneuver in front of the capital of Tenerife.

Also, two new helicopters from the Emergency and Rescue Group of the Government of the Canary Islands, so right now there are 13 aerial means trying to combat the flames.
The fire forced the preventive evacuation of several nuclei at dawn from Tuesday to Wednesday, producing new evacuations during the day of this Wednesday. Due to the dimension of the fire, the Cabildo de Tenerife requested this morning from the Government of the Canary Islands the step to level 2 of severity, with which it assumes the direction of the emergency.
