Flying over the peaks of Arafo and Candelaria we enter the head of the fire. Here, surrounded by a huge forest mass, are the flames that neither the smoke nor the distance manage to hide. The force they have is so great that they even evaporate the water thrown by aerial means. It is being very difficult to deal with this fire that has forced the eviction of some neighbors and puts others on alert. The advance of the flames to the north is worrying, where secondary foci are already spreading and they are trying to prevent it from reaching inhabited areas. At the same time, work is also being done so that the flames do not descend down the slope of the ravine, since this would open up their capacity for destruction. This area is difficult to access but spreads rapidly on a day of dry air and high temperatures in which the fire has crowned the island.
