SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 15 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A total of three people have been injured of varying degrees after colliding two cars as they pass through El Palmar, in Arona (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The events occurred around 1:53 p.m. on the TF-653 highway, in the El Palmar area, the place where members of the Tenerife Fire Consortium went to secure the damaged vehicles and extracted one of their occupants from inside. of the passenger compartment
Subsequently, the personnel of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) verified that a 61-year-old woman initially presented different moderate injuries, except for complications; while a 68-year-old man suffered moderate injuries, for which both were taken by ambulance to the Hospiten Sur University Hospital.
Likewise, the SUC staff attended to a 22-year-old woman who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented different polycontusions of a mild nature, except for complications, for which she was also transferred by ambulance to the Hospiten Sur University Hospital.
At the scene of the incident, there were members of the Highway Maintenance Service of the Cabildo de Tenerife who cleaned the road, as well as agents of the Civil Guard who made the corresponding report.
