The waves continue to beat strongly against the coast of Tenerife and in the case of Arona they have again broken part of the road in Las Galletas. The City Council, in conjunction with the Highway area of ​​the Island Council, has closed traffic on the TF-66 between El Fraile and Las Galletas for safety at noon this Sunday.

For his part, Alexis Gómez, Councilor for Security of the Aronero consistory, stated that “we have made the decision to close the TF-66 for security in coordination with the Cabildo. The mayor explained that “when the sea level drops we will reassess the situation and adopt the measures that are necessary at that time.”
