SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 13 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 50-year-old woman of Dutch nationality died this Sunday after fainting in the Tenerife municipality of Guía de Isora, specifically on a path located in a ravine in the Vera de Erques area.
It was around 6:01 p.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert requesting health care for the hiker, who was unconscious.
Following the alert, 1-1-2 immediately activated a helicopter from the Canary Islands Government Emergency and Rescue Group (GES), which rescued the affected person and transferred her to an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC). ).
Upon verifying that he was in cardiorespiratory arrest, the health personnel have carried out resuscitation maneuvers together with the medical team of the health center that have not given results and in the end his death has been confirmed.
The Civil Guard and the Local Police have been in charge of the corresponding proceedings.
