The town of Tejina, in the municipality of La Laguna, will host a large number of activities this weekend as part of the traditional festivities in honor of its patron saint, San Bartolomé. The program for this celebration is promoted by the Fiestas Commission, in collaboration with the City Council.
Today there is a musical-theatrical performance Sounds of a mine, by José Félix in the Parish Complex (8:30 p.m.), and the concert by Escuela de Calor and Tributo a Mecano.
Tomorrow, from 10:00 am, simultaneous celebration of the VI MKV Vertical Watchtower and the excursion in the Parish Complex, with homage to old age. An hour later, the veterans’ game will take place at the Izquierdo Rodríguez Soccer Field, followed by the Singles vs. Casadas match.
The day will be enlivened, starting at 9:30 p.m., with the traditional tour of the town crier through the central streets and the festival.
