SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 9 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Social Action area, has allocated 150,000 euros to subsidies to improve the municipal day care centers and services for minors on the island, as reported by the councilor for the area, Águera Fumero.
The counselor explained that this line of aid is part of the island government’s objective of supporting municipalities in providing services to the most vulnerable groups, in this case, minors, and announced that the credit allocated to these subsidies may be extended to 300,000 euros, depending on the demand for aid”.
The subsidies are intended to provide material for the day care centers and services for minors owned by the municipality of Tenerife for the year 2023, whose activity is focused on prevention, “in order to avoid possible situations of risk or abandonment”. as well as correct the deficiencies that hinder the normal development of minors in vulnerable situations.
The beneficiaries of this line of aid are the municipalities of Tenerife, which can formalize their applications digitally, containing a description of the investment project for which the subsidy is requested, including a budget for income and expenses, broken down by concept.
The application form is available to interested entities on the website of the Institute of Socio-Sanitary Care (IASS), https://www.iass.es/component/jdownloads/category/276-subven….
