SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Agents of the Civil Guard belonging to the Investigation and Analysis Group of the Canary Islands Traffic Sector (GIAT) have instructed proceedings in which they are investigating a 60-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against road safety when taking the exam for the recovery of license points by driving your own vehicle.
In a statement, the Benemérita has explained that the man’s permit had been withdrawn for different administrative infractions that led to the loss of all the points he had assigned.
Here, the Civil Guard recalled that within the functions of the (GIAT) is the inspection of the theoretical knowledge tests to obtain the different driving licenses, as well as the checking and verification of the identity of its assistants to avoid, among other irregularities, identity theft.
For this reason, on July 28, the agents observed that one of the persons designated to carry out said tests had gone to the facilities where the examination was carried out, driving his own vehicle.
Once the driver was identified and verified that he did not have a driving license, he was investigated as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against road safety, for driving a motor vehicle with the loss of all the points legally assigned to his driving license.
