SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
An 84-year-old man has been moderately injured when his car left the road and overturned on a road in Icod de los Vinos, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The events occurred at 2:15 p.m. this Thursday on the Lomo Acevedo road, in the municipality of Icod de los Vinos, and firefighters from Tenerife went to the scene to secure the damaged vehicle, which had fallen down an unevenness. and released its occupant from inside the cabin.
Subsequently, the man was assisted by personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) who verified that the man had moderate polycontusions, except for complications, for which he was transferred by ambulance to the Specialized Emergency Care Center (CEAU) of the Hospital del North.
Agents of the Local Police and the Civil Guard also appeared at the scene of the incident, regulating traffic on the road and carrying out the corresponding report.
