Thirteen people have lost their lives this weekend in thirteen accidents on Spanish roads, one of them in Tenerife, and of the total number of deaths, four of them were vulnerable users: three motorists and one cyclist.
Of the thirteen fatal accidents, seven have occurred on conventional roads, while six of them have taken place on motorways or dual carriageways. Among them, there have been four collisions and eight exits from the road, according to the balance of accidents of the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), collected by Europa Press.
The accidents have taken place in Romangordo (Cáceres), Maçanet de la Selva and Vilamalla (Girona), Iznalloz (Granada), San Sebastián (Guipúzcoa), Tarnarite de Litera (Huesca), Calzada del Coto (León), Fuente el Saz de Jarama (Madrid), Larraun (Navarra), Vilaflor de Chasna (Santa Cruz de Tenerife), Dos Hermanas (Seville), Riudoms (Tarragona) and Rueda de Jalón (Zaragoza).
In the annual accumulated until August 6, 644 deaths have been recorded on Spanish roads, 24 of whom have died during this month of August.
