SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 8 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 14-year-old man has been seriously injured after being run over while skateboarding in La Enramada, in the municipality of Adeje, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred at around 5:10 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operational room received an alert reporting the run-over of a person who was skateboarding in the aforementioned direction, for which reason Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
A medicalized ambulance and a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), a Primary Care team from the Health Center in the area and agents from the Adeje Local Police traveled to the place.
Once there, the SUC staff and the medical team from the Health Center gave him initial assistance and, after being stabilized in the medicalized ambulance, he was transferred to the Nuestra Sra. de Candelaria University Hospital after presenting a serious head injury. . The Local Police instructed the corresponding proceedings.
