A 52-year-old man was injured this Sunday when a stone hit him on the head in Los Realejos. He was taken to the hospital with a moderate head injury.
The events occurred on Camino San Pedro, in the Tenerife municipality of Los Realejos. At 12:57 p.m., the Canary Islands Emergency Coordination Center was alerted, 1-1-2, which activated the resources.
While the resources arrived at the scene, a health coordinator from the SUC told the alerters how to provide first aid to the wounded.
The SUC staff provided health care to the affected person and transferred him to the Hospiten Bellevue University Hospital.
Firefighters and Local Police collaborated with the health emergency service.
