Indian laurel roots
The intervention planned by the Department of Works and Infrastructures is carried out because “in recent weeks it has been possible to observe how a series of cracks have appeared in the concrete and stone wall of La Candelaria square, in La Cuesta, due to the ground pressure and growth of the roots of the Indian laurels that are found there ”, details the statement.
As a first measure until the drafting and execution of the works included in the project, the passage area under that section of wall was fenced off, to avoid danger to pedestrians.
