SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 5 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 58-year-old man has died in a motorcycle accident that occurred this Saturday on the TF-565 highway, in the municipality of Vilaflor, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred around 12:25 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert informing that a motorist had left the road and had hit a rock at kilometer 4.8 of the TF-565.
The Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources and a medicalized ambulance and another sanitary ambulance from the SUC, Civil Guard, General Corps of the Canary Islands Police and personnel from the Island Highway Center of the Cabildo de Tenerife traveled to the place.
Upon arrival at the scene, SUC personnel could only confirm the death of the person affected due to the seriousness of the injuries he sustained. The Civil Guard instructed the corresponding proceedings and the Canarian Police regulated traffic in the area and collaborated with the emergency services. The staff of the Insular Highway Center proceeded to clean the road.
