The 6 defendants for the serious incidents that occurred at the Tamaimo festivities already know their firm sentences

The 6 defendants for the serious incidents that occurred during the celebration of the festivities of the town of Tamaimo already know their conviction, after the celebration of the speedy trial procedure initiated against the perpetrators of the acts of vandalism.

The Judicial Resolution issued by the Investigating Court of Arona condemns 5 of the 6 defendants for the CRIME OF ATTACK of article 550.1 and 2 of the Penal Code, imposing an 8-month prison sentence and special disqualification for the exercise of the right to passive suffrage during the time of the sentence; while the other accused is imposed a prison sentence of 9 months and 10 days and special disqualification for the exercise of the right to passive suffrage during the time of the sentence.

In turn, for the CRIME OF DAMAGES of article 263 of the Penal Code, the 6 defendants are sentenced to a 4-month fine with a daily quota of €5 per day.

Likewise, they are sentenced for three MINOR INJURY CRIMES of article 147.2 of the Penal Code, a fine for a period of 2 months is imposed on the 6 defendants with a daily fee ranging from €5 to €7.

Those convicted, in addition to paying the costs of the procedure, must jointly and severally compensate the Santiago del Teide City Council for the damage caused to the municipal police vehicle in the amount of €4,964.70. In addition, the defendants are required to pay compensation for the physical damage caused to three of the 4 Local Police officers, with fines ranging from €100 to €350 for the physical harm suffered with the application of the provided in article 576, section 1 of the Civil Procedure Law.
