Injured a child under five years of age after suffering an incomplete drowning in a pool at a hotel in Tenerife



A child under the age of five has been injured in Tenerife after suffering a moderate incomplete drowning in a hotel pool, after which he was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital.

The events occurred on Meandro street, in the municipality of Arona, at around 11:45 in the morning. The lifeguards rescued the child from the water and provided first aid.

Subsequently, the personnel of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) provided medical assistance to the minor and transferred him in a medicalized ambulance to the aforementioned hospital. The National Police instructed the corresponding proceedings.
