SUC personnel recover a man after suffering a syncope in a cafeteria in Santa Cruz de Tenerife



Staff from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) have managed to recover a 64-year-old man who suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest when he was in a cafeteria located on Bentagay street, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency Coordination Center and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2.

The event occurred at 6:50 a.m., when the operating room of 1-1-2 Canarias received an alert requesting health care for a man who had suffered a syncope in a cafeteria, for which reason Cecoes immediately activated the emergency resources needed

Once at the scene, SUC personnel verified that the affected person was in cardiorespiratory arrest and performed basic and advanced resuscitation maneuvers on him, managing to recover his pulse. Once stabilized, he was transferred in critical condition by medicalized ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Ntra. Sra. De Candelaria. The Local Police collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources.
