SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 31 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The national secretary general of the Canary Islands Coalition (CC), Fernando Clavijo, has affirmed that so far they have not received any request or proposal from the Socialist Party or the Popular Party to support the investiture of Pedro Sánchez or Alberto Núñez Feijóo.
In statements to the media, Fernando Clavijo admitted that it is always “good news that they have to count on the Canary Islands” to facilitate the investiture of the future president of the Government of Spain, but “from then on we have not had any request or proposal to the regard”.
“Therefore, prudently, as the Canarian Coalition has always done, we are waiting for events,” said Clavijo, who made it clear that CC is an “institutional, constitutionalist” party and will contribute “to stability and the governance of the State”.
