SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 30 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Health Services Management of La Gomera, attached to the Health Department of the Government of the Canary Islands, has informed that due to the interruption of the electricity supply on the island, the routine analytical activity scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, in the Basic Health Zones from Valle Gran Rey, Playa Santiago and San Sebastián de La Gomera are suspended until further notice.
Therefore, the patients assigned to those three health centers who had an appointment to carry out tests tomorrow will be summoned again by the Health Services Management once the electricity supply is restored, as reported by the Ministry of Health.
However, the rest of the activity of all the health centers will continue as normal thanks to the activated emergency generators, as has happened today at the General Hospital.
The Health Services Management of La Gomera has tried to contact the users of the affected health centers, with the existing limitations for communication and has installed signage at the entrance doors of the centers to warn of the suspension of the analyzes and cause the least possible inconvenience to the users who had an appointment for analysis tomorrow at those three health centers.
