SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 26 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

La consejera de Sanidad del Gobierno de Canarias, Esther Monzón, ha mantenido una reunión en la sede de la Consejería en Santa Cruz de Tenerife con los presidentes de los Colegios Oficiales de Farmacéuticos de ambas provincias para establecer un primer contacto entre las instituciones y conocer de primera mano la situación actual del sector.

En el encuentro participaron los presidentes de los Colegios Oficiales de Farmacéuticos de Santa Cruz de Tenerife y de Las Palmas, Manuel Ángel Galván y Loreto Gómez, respectivamente.

Durante la reunión se habló sobre los proyectos y prestaciones desarrollados en común entre el Servicio Canario de la Salud y ambos colegios, como la Receta Electrónica del SCS, la Interoperable del Sistema Nacional de Salud y la Receta Interoperable Europea, proyectos en los que el SCS y los colegios de farmacéuticos han sido pioneros en su implantación, tanto en el ámbito nacional como europeo.

La consejera aprovechó el encuentro para reafirmar el compromiso de la Consejería y del SCS con el sector farmacéutico, que “se ha implicado decididamente en todas aquellas propuestas que desde el Gobierno de Canarias les hemos planteado”. En este sentido, anunció que se seguirá trabajando conjuntamente en el desarrollo de iniciativas, propuestas y proyectos que mejoren el acceso de la ciudadanía a los productos farmacéuticos, esenciales para el mantenimiento de una buena salud y para prevenir enfermedades.
