The president of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Rosa Dávila, has announced on Tuesday the appearance of the Island Corporation as a private prosecution in the preliminary investigation procedure that has been processed by the Court of First Instance and Instruction No. 5 of La Orotava as a result of the arrest and imprisonment of the alleged perpetrator of the fire in Los Realejos, which burned more than five hectares.
This has been announced at a press conference in which he has intervened together with the Councilor for the Presidency of the Cabildo, José Miguel Ruano; the Minister of the Natural Environment, Blanca Pérez; the mayor of Los Realejos, Adolfo González; and the person in charge of the Brifor Operation of the Cabildo, José María Sánchez.
