An outbreak of fire was declared this afternoon in the Jesús area, in the municipality of Tijarafe, on the island of La Palma, as reported by the Cabildo on its official Twitter account.
Two BRIF helicopters, a technician, an agent, four checkpoints and two fire trucks have already traveled to work in the area, in addition to the helicopter of the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) of the Government of the Canary Islands.
This attempt occurs one day after the fire declared a week ago in the municipality of Puntagorda has been officially considered under control, going to Emergency Level 1, after affecting some 2,900 hectares.
