The attempted fire declared this afternoon in the area of El Jesús, in the municipality of Tijarafe, on the island of La Palma, has been considered controlled at 4:50 p.m., as reported by the Cabildo on its official Twitter account.
The EIRIF La Palma, three ROMEOS, three fire trucks and a nurse, two technicians, two agents, four checkpoints, Sin Suela de Tijarafe volunteers, BRIF personnel with two helicopters and GES personnel, who have carried out 70 unloadings, have participated in the operation.
The Civil Guard, Local Police and Alfa Tango have also participated in an attempt that occurs one day after the fire declared a week ago in Puntagorda has been considered controlled, after affecting some 2,900 hectares.
