The Parque Las Torres de Taco Sports Complex, in the municipality of La Laguna, increases its offer of sports facilities, including a new calisthenics park, in addition to paddle tennis courts, a basketball court and a futsal field, among others, the City Council reported yesterday.
The president of the Autonomous Sports Organization, Badel Albelo, inaugurated this week facilities that provide this sports complex with one of the most demanded facilities in the municipality. Likewise, the Councilor for Sports assured that “this new calisthenics park offers the possibility of exercising for all levels and ages”.
Thus, the adaptation of the facilities is one of the most notable key points of this project, “which is not intended solely for professional athletes,” added the councilor. This space for calisthenics has total dimensions of 12.75 x 10.20 meters, thus meeting the security perimeter conditions of each group of bars. The laid pavement corresponds to rubber with an approximate thickness of 5 to 7 centimeters. The entire circuit is delimited with a concrete curb, to surround the calisthenics area from the rest of the sports complex.
Items
The equipment of these facilities brings together a wide variety of elements for training, among which are: triple bars, double sit-up bench, vertical wall bar, double horizontal ladder, eight pull-up bars, rings with chains, and pull-up bars that have an inclination. Likewise, two free bars have been incorporated to practice freestyle.
Soon, a diagram and a QR code will be provided in each area of the facility that will be linked to a tutorial where a monitor will explain how each exercise is performed and the different variations that each one has.
