Agrupación Socialista Gomera (ASG) has begun the process of appointing positions to occupy the positions established in the Canary Islands government pact and after the first meeting of the formation’s management bodies, the general secretary, Casimiro Curbelo, has advanced the appointment of the former rector of the University of La Laguna, Rosa María Aguilar, as the new delegate of the Government of the Canary Islands in Madrid.
This proposal is joined by the one of the former General Director of Energy, Rosana Melián, who becomes the General Directorate of Road Infrastructures, while the until now General Director of Infrastructures, Sustainability and Tourism Quality, Fernando Miñarro –who ended the Legislature in confrontation with the Minister of Tourism, Yaiza Castilla– will hold the General Directorate of Educational Infrastructures.
As for health from La Gomera, Guacimara Barrera repeats as manager of Sanitary Services and Eva Ravelo will join as the new director of the Health area, details ASG in a note.
Curbelo announced that during the next few days the rest of the positions will be agreed upon at ASG’s proposal and he valued the work capacity of the designated profiles.
“We believe in teams prepared with the capacity to face the challenges of the present and the future. The women and men proposed have these qualities and now it is time to start the journey in what will be their new responsibilities,” he added.
