A worker seriously injured after an explosion in an ice factory in Tenerife



A worker was seriously injured this Thursday after an explosion occurred in an ice factory located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Canary Islands Government Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES 1-1-2).

The incident occurred in an ice factory located in the Barranco Grande area, where the firefighters, local and national police officers and members of the Canarian Emergency Service have gone.

As a consequence of the explosion, there has been material damage to two vehicles parked outside the ice factory, the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has reported on their social networks. In fact, José Sáez and Sáez Díez streets have been cut off.
