VALVERDE (THE IRON), 19 July (EUROPA PRESS) –
Maritime Rescue has rescued a boat with 82 immigrants in waters near the island of El Hierro late this Tuesday, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 of the Canary Islands and the Red Cross.
After being rescued, the migrants have been transferred to the port of La Estaca, in the municipality of Valverde, where the people were assisted by members of the health system in the area, who had to transfer two immigrants to the hospital for various pathologies.
This is the second boat that has arrived on the island of El Hierro in the last few hours, with some 205 migrants arriving in the first days of this week.
