Those from Orotava who access the European University of Canary Islands You can now apply to the town hall for your scholarship. The term to request the aid, which opened on Monday, July 17, remains open until August 31, according to the Villa City Council.
Instances must be downloaded through the municipal website laorotava.es and present in the General Registry of the City Councilfrom 08:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., prior appointment request, or make the management directly through the electronic headquarters.
The municipal corporation offer six scholarships that will be assigned based on the level of family income, establishing as a requirement to benefit from this aid an average grade of 6 for undergraduate studies, and 6.5 for master’s or postgraduate studies. Two scholarships are subsidized with 50% of the total teaching and the other four, 25%. Another condition is to be registered in La Orotava with a minimum seniority of one year and who are going to take any of the degrees for the first time that are taught at the European University of the Canary Islands.
The rest of Orotavans who carry out their studies at said University or those who cannot access the scholarship can also benefit from a 10% discount, and the costs of the entrance test are free, being a requirement to be registered in La Orotava with a one year old.
