The Council of Tenerife has given for The ban on making fires in recreational areas has ended after improving weather conditions, as reported in a note.
Thus, from this Monday the regime of Ordinary uses of forests and protected natural spaces provided for in the laws and regulations -specifically, those that regulate the preventive measures of fires forestry- and in the plans and regulations of protected natural areas.
The Minister of the Natural Environment, Blanca Pérez, has indicated that conditions “have improved, but we cannot lower our guardso we ask the population to take extreme precautions in activities that can cause a fire.”
In addition, he wanted to remember that agricultural burning is paralyzed until October 15 in order to avoid the risk of forest fire.
