He forest fire originated on Saturday in the tenerife islandunder the Chivisaya viewpoint, in a border area between Candelaria and Arafo, has already been controlled. This was announced by the president of the Tenerife Cabildo, Rosa Dávila, through her social networks.
Once the fire has already been controlled, the Los Loros highway (TF-523) in Arafo has been reopened, thus allowing access for residents.
The fire has affected 30 hectares of scrubland, scrub and pasture in the municipalities of Arafo and Candelaria.
