SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 14 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Three people have been injured of varying degrees when a car overturned as it passed through Candelaria, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The events occurred this Thursday afternoon on the TF-24 road, at kilometer 16 as it passes through Candelaria, the place to which the personnel of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) traveled, who upon arriving at The area verified that a woman, around 50 years old, initially presented severe polytrauma, for which she was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
Likewise, the SUC staff treated a 20-year-old girl with moderate polycontusions and a man in his 50s with a moderate head injury, for which both were transferred by ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candlemas.
Members of the Tenerife Fire Consortium also attended the scene, secured the vehicle and freed the seriously injured person from inside it, since he had been trapped; while personnel from the Insular Highway Center cleaned the road and Civil Guard agents instructed the corresponding procedures and regulated traffic in the area.
