The General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands has updated the situation due to forest fires, which goes on alert in all the islands, except in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
Specifically, the alert affects the entire island territory in The iron, La Gomera and Tenerife; in Gran Canaria, from elevation 400 above sea level; already all The Palm except the area affected by the Puntagorda fire, which is in an emergency situation.
According to the weather forecast, temperatures will continue to drop over the next few hours in the midlands and peaks.
The relative humidity will remain around 70% in interior levels to the base of the inversion, but above this level the environment will be dry, with relative humidity values below 30% and slightly higher maximum temperatures.
The wind will be from the northeast component with strong intervals and occasional very strong gusts on the southeast and northwest slopes in the early hours of Sunday.
