SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 15 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Vice President of the Canary Islands and Minister of Economy, Industry, Commerce and the Self-Employed, Manuel Domínguez, has stated that the first thing he is going to do is a “deep analysis” to find out what is the “real situation” of the areas that he has to manage in the regional government.
In statements to the media after taking office, he recalled the fire on La Palma and hoped that it could be brought under control as soon as possible and with as little damage as possible.
“Today we have sworn, promised the position, the advisers of the Government to comply with the well-being of the canaries,” he asserted.
Here, he added that working for and for the canaries is the commitment that everyone has assumed today. “It is important to reiterate that if there is not a single government, it becomes misgovernment. Therefore, I insisted on my loyalty to the president, Fernando Clavijo, something that I am going to influence today. Absolute loyalty on my part and on the part of of the councilors who represent the PP”.
He also pointed out that the first thing he is going to do is a “deep” analysis of what is the “real situation” of the different areas that he has to manage.
“We will have to see what happens in each of them, what are the actions, what is pending… here we are not going to be nice and clean, as they say, but to continue those projects that we understand are positive for these sectors and to renew and work on the next budget”, he concluded.
