A festive weekend in the islands of Lanzarote and Graciosa, where the festivities in various locations in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. In it Valterra neighborhood, the festivities of El Carmen began yesterday with the proclamation by Águeda Batista, a prominent athlete who lived during her childhood and youth in this seaside neighborhood, and is a worker at the capital’s City Hall. The proclamation began at 8:00 p.m. in the Plaza de Valterra.
