SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 14 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 37-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting his partner on the beach of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Maritime Park on Wednesday night, police sources report to Europa Press.
Local Police agents went to the scene after receiving a notice of an attack that occurred on the beach in the company of a health resource from the SUC and a team from the National Police.
When the events occurred, the assaulted woman and her partner were spending the night in a tent set up on the beach.
The 24-year-old victim told the agents that after an argument her partner expelled her from the store, threw her to the ground and kicked her in the head, in such a way that she had various injuries at the time of being treated.
Thus, with the physical description of the alleged attacker, a location search was carried out in the surroundings until he was found by members of the National Police hiding among some rocks next to the Maritime Park.
The man was identified as CMDM and arrested for a possible crime of gender violence.
He was transferred to a health center and then to police stations, remaining at the disposal of the judicial authority.
The victim was also taken to a health center where, in addition to being treated, he was offered the resources and recommendations provided by the public administrations in this type of situation.
