SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The home of the Lenovo Tenerife basketball player, Marcelinho Huertas, was robbed on Sunday night and the thieves took, among other things, three ACB watches –as league champion– and the ring of marriage of his wife.
The player himself has made it public through a video on his Instagram account in which he acknowledges that he is “very sad” and “very weak” and asks the Tenerife society for help so that he can collaborate with the National Police investigation. .
Huertas details that the thieves entered the house through the window of one of his children’s rooms despite the fact that it has bars and the alarm system was activated and he does not know “how they had time” to enter and leave the house before for the police to arrive.
The Brazilian player also points out that the police are taking fingerprints and that they left his house “upside down”, lamenting that some of the stolen objects have great “sentimental value” and others could be acquired after a professional life of many efforts.
Along these lines, he comments that Tenerife is his “home” and a “comfortable and safe” place, much more so than Brazil, so he does not need to take things out of his home when he is away.
“Help me capture these criminals, share it with as many people as you can and let’s not let them continue to do this kind of thing, I’m counting on the Tenerife police force to recover my belongings and above all, put these people where they deserve” , summarizes in his account.
