SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 9 (EUROPA PRESS) –
An 84-year-old man has been hospitalized in serious condition after being recovered from a cardiorespiratory arrest on the Puerto beach, next to the Old Dock, in the La Palma municipality of Tazacorte, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes). 1-1-2.
The event occurred minutes before eleven in the morning, when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert informing that a man with symptoms of drowning had been rescued from the water and a doctor on the spot was performing the first assistance to the affected person.
Upon arrival at the scene of the incident, the SUC health personnel continued with the basic and advanced resuscitation maneuvers, managing to reverse the stop, so after stabilizing the affected person, they proceeded to transfer him to the General Hospital of La Palma. The Civil Guard instructed the corresponding proceedings.
