The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Hector Gomezhas valued this Saturday the prominent place occupied by the Tenerife municipality of Cross port in it tourism sector. In addition, he highlighted the remarkable progress that it has experienced in terms of hotel occupancy in recent years.
This morning, the head of the PSOE list to the Congress for the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, carried out an official visit to the municipality. There he was received by Mayor Marco González and a delegation of members of the local City Council.
As reported in a note, the minister visited the Costa Martiánez Tourist Complex, where renovation work is being carried out on some of its facilities, specifically in the machine room in charge of supplying seawater to the pools.
Likewise, he toured the city center to verify the vitality of economic activity that has more than recovered from the health crisis, reaching pre-pandemic levels.
Marco González has expressed his gratitude for the institutional visit and has highlighted the importance of having the support of the State so that the tourism sector of the city continues to invest in the renovation and improvement of the quality of the destination.
